Crown of Thorns Display
This Crown of Thorns is made in Bethlehem by a Christian family. They made it in the months of July & August because at that time the branches of the rose bushes would be fresh, so they can be shaped into a head size circle. Those bushes are taken from Jerusalem from the Catholic monks who have lived in the area since the time of the crusades. In that area, only one particular type of thorn bush is native. It has a distinct double thorn pattern. Display this crown of thorns during Lent and Easter in remembrance of the suffering Jesus went through for our salvation.
Divine Mercy Rosary – Antique Silver Plated – Red & White Glass
Striking Divine Mercy Rosary with “Merciful Jesus” centerpiece features a detailed and perfect reproduction of the Apparition to Saint Faustina Kowalska. Red and white Bohemian glass beads, arranged as the rays of Divine Mercy, complement the hand-painted rays coming out from Jesus’s Heart. The Eucharistic Ostensory crucifix with hand-enameled Host is inspired by the Real Presence of Jesus in the Most Sacred Eucharist and by the Gospel passage “I am with you always” (Matthew 28:20).
Faustina: The Apostle of Divine Mercy
This award-winning movie is a beautiful representation of the mystical life of St. Maria Faustina, who became the “Apostle of Divine Mercy”. It tells the story of her mystical experiences as a nun living in a convent in Poland in the early 20th century. It is to her that Jesus appeared and commanded that she be his instrument for promoting devotion to his Divine Mercy, and that the Feast of Divine Mercy be established and celebrated on the Sunday after Easter.
